North River Little League registration for its fall softball and baseball league is now open on their website.
The Softball leagues are open to all Manatee County girls ages 6-14 regardless of where they live in the county, since North River is the only Little League in Florida District 26 that offers softball.

Manatee West Cal Ripken to Southeastern Regional Tournament

Manatee West Cal Ripken All-Stars are headed to the Southeasten Regional Championship tournament in Mackenzie, Tennessee.The 11-under team won the South Florida State championship last weekend in Jupiter and earned them a trip to the Regional Championship. The tournament starts tonight and go through July 27.

Manatee West wins the District 26 title and advances to Bloomingdale Little League to play in the Section 4 Tournament. They will play Haines City on Friday Night at 7 pm, New Tampa at noon on Saturday and East Bay American at 6 pm on Saturday.

The Manatee West Cal Ripken Baseball 11-and-under team has won the Florida State Title. The team is headed to the Southeastern Regional Championshipin in McKenzie, Tenn which runs July 21-27
